West Essex Mind is a local registered charity working to support people affected by mental ill health, and the people around them, on the journey towards recovery.

West Essex Mind is affiliated to National Mind, and works to the Mind Quality standard to offer services that are best practice and sensitive to local needs. Our quality strategy promotes and monitors consistency of service delivery and outcomes and ensures that users' and funders' requirements are met.

Our Board of Trustees is drawn from the local community.

We believe that with the appropriate support everyone has the potential to take steps that will improve their quality of life.

We aim to achieve this by providing a range of different activities and opportunities. We are committed to finding ways of developing these activities in a way that makes them responsive to the needs of the local population.

Our main office bases are currently in Harlow and Great Dunmow, however our activities take place throughout the district.
